Hey Guys...

I am in the process of designing a set of EPON AF301's

I am going to do the sole engraving.

Can't decide exactly what to put on them.

I'm thinking:

"idrive"

my last name

first name

first name with last name initial

first name initial and last name

"custom"

"1ofakind"

??????

any ideas? and no, I'm not going to put your name on them... :atsg_smilie_roll:

dont have numbers on the sole, be creative use aztec numbers or something. also try to get these in copper:)

lol delete that last line idrive!

I think depending on how long your first and last names are will depend on whether or not you should put those!

if it were me - I would get a copper set! they rock - with either - Plus1 - Tourspec - Beastwood - or BJ on the soles!

idrive would be pretty cool assuming they will be yours forever.

with the multitude of gear coming out every year, nothing in my bag lasts that long:)

" IDRIVE '07 " in the Palindrome style. The "'07" is for the year.

for some reason i dont like putting the year on things i dont intend to keep. watches, keepsakes cool but not golf gear unless it was a gift to someone:)

My suggestion: Iron heaven !

I would put "custom" on them, pretty original for a set of irons and you can still sell them later (or sooner?)

My suggestions:

custom

custom 2008

handmade

tour spec

J-J

J-J would be good for your initials but handmade is kinda weird since they arent:)

Thanks guys,

Great suggestions!!

Because I plan on keeping them forever....

I have decided to use "idrive" it is the name I use on several (all) the forums I participate in.

My second choice would be "custom" because they definately will be. :atsg_smilie_roll:

Will post some pics when they arrive... a month from now??

Thanks again

Glad to hear it!!

You don't strike me as the sort to buy clubs and turn around and sell them right out. I picture you more as a "connisuer of clubs", if you will.

Waiting very patiently for pics. I know they'll be sweet!!

The wait... is torturous!!

The killer part is we don't know if they're going to be Copper or the Vintage Copper!!!!

Actually doesn't matter to me as I have been flip flopping on which one I'd rather have.

Opening this box is going to be the highlight of my month.. regardless of which month

they show up.

I have a question for you guys...

Where else can you get a custom ordered set of irons made from the finest forgings in the world,

that are the exact - Loft - Lie - Length - Finish - shafts - grips - engraving - even the Ferrules, that you have asked for (demanded :tsg_smiley_hitler:) ....

and know they will be done right???

take it from someone who know....

:atsg_logo_anim:

Is the only place!

How would this be done in a palindrome? Isn't a palindrome a word or phrase that's read exactly the same backwards? I'm curious, because it sounds like a good idea.
