Guys there seems to be some discussion recently about experimentation with hybrid shafts.

I'm just curious to see what the overall picture is with the driver, 3 wood and utilities and what people are using and why.

My driver is 44.5 inches, 3 wood 42.5 and I intend to put a 40.5 inch shaft in the 20* utility and 39.5 in the 23* utility. My first iron would be a 4 iron at 38.5 inches, as I have been recently fitted and told my 5 iron should be 38 inches.

The driver shaft is 85g and cpm of 261. What I'm thinking is getting maybe a 75g and cpm around 250.

3 wood, 85g.

Utilities 95 g.

Driver: Epon 460 w/ TOURSPECGOLF prototype: length: 45" / cpm: 270 / weight 81gm

3 wood: Epon 13.5 w/ Graphite Design QuattroTech 85 stiff / length 43.25" / cpm: ? / weight 86 gm

Utilities: TourStage X-UT w/ Nippon Shaft utility 950 stiff / length: std. / cpm: ? / weight 95gm?

G-Field #3 w/ Graphite Design UT-85 x-stiff / length : 41" / cpm: ? / weight 85gm

I'm considering dropping a UT-95 in the X-UT but these are what I have right now. I also have a couple old TRC utilities, one with a Diamana blue board and another with a Speeder 757 in them. Both work great, but the Speeder is better in the utility than the Diamana. I think the best shafts for a utility is the UT line by Graphite Design.

my current driver shaft is the roddio w6ba sr at 67grams and 240 cpm. 3 wood is a epon but resgafting with axiv 8076 70ish grams 275cpm,

hybrids 18/20 is the gd ysh-85r 85grams cpm 270, 20deg speeder 759 69 grams 265 cpm. will be experimenting with the ut85s soon but my concensus is the best feeling shaft in my arsenal has to be the speeder shaft in my 22, that is a different beast altohether,
