Duffer19
For those knowledgeable about JDM irons, is there such an alloy as 1070? I know about 1020 and 1025 but never heard of 1070. I got this from a Japanese magazine but of course, I could not read it and not sure whether it was referring to alloy but it relates to irons specs. gocchin
1070 steel is equivalent to S70C and is a high carbon steel. Never heard of it being used in clubs but then again there are tons of different steels out there.
Duffer19
T, it was mentioned in the insert of October issue of Golf Classic (all Japanese' iron spec [#5 iron only]comparison from 1996 to 2007) and I would also be bring back the latest November issue to share with you just in case you dont have it.
