Folks,

Sorry, not sure if this is the right forum to ask, but I am going to spend a few days in Tokyo, and was just wondering where I can spend a day looking at JDM stuff, new or used. Can somone help out with some pointers? Is the Ueno area a good place to go? Thanks lots.

It does not sound like that you are a frequent visitor to the city. To browse new stuff, there is always Victoria Golf. Check www.victoria.co.jp for a location near you. For tons of new-used JDM, you should visit a Festival Golf near you. www.festivalgolf.jp It helps if you read a little Japanese. If you are into personal golf fittings, I think TS, Callaway and PRGR has fitting centers all over the city (for a fee.) Good Luck and enjoy the city. particularly the food.

Duffer:

Thanks for the suggestions!

Indeed I am not a frequent visitor. The last time I went there was almost 5 years ago. There was no time for golf equipment either.

Where in Tokyo is TS?

I dont recall where I read it but try the TS site and see whether you can dig up anything. It is not the shopping that would be interesting but the chance to try out or demo the latest JDM gears in the fitting centers.

There is a TS fitting centre up at Victoria Golf at Sinjuku. Sometimes if you are in luck, when there is a promotion, there might be a TS tour van park at the pavement of Victoria.

Me 2 :tsg_smiley_secret:

I hate it when I get a link referring to a Japanese site, and all I see is these odd signs and I sighhhh and give up :atsg_smilie_roll:

I'm thinking of starting following a 3 year basic Japan course at the univerity of Copenhagen to learn a bit Japanese.

According to a friend, it's a very difficult language to learn, but so is a Arabic :tsg_smiley_crazy:
