Breal
I have been doing some leg work comparisons on iron face progresion (and or offset) on the irons im thinking of trying. There are some others but these were the only irons to get them on the spec sheets. The larger number is the less offset, and I want to share there are more if you want a iron let me know and I will put it up. Ginrin
Am I reading your chart correctly if the 501's have less offset than the 301's? Thx for sharing your info
xxio
Face progression is a different measurement of the same concept.
Bat
Am I reading your chart correctly if the 501's have less offset than the 301's? Thx for sharing your info Looks that way for the 8-PW. The longer irons has more offset though. Player's CB generally has less offset difference from long irons to short irons than larger CB. In this case it's only 0.9 difference from #3 to PW for the 301. The 501 has a more aggressive progression slope with 1.9 difference from #3 to PW. Nice chart Breal. Let's keep this going with more irons when you have the chance. Thanks for the info. Bat
Breal
To me the Golds set and the new Honmas have the idea offset . If the AF 501 had the offset of the 8-pw and then the offset of the AF 301 that would be the utimate set. I want epon to try but the 501 looks so pure then it get crazy in the 6 iron, man if they just re adjusted the offsets wow!. Too bad the Golds and the Honma are so expensive they look good. I have no idea besides the new Yamaha tour inpres, I cant find out the offset or face progression on them.
