aimersbent
I was just checking out irons the on the TSG proshop site and came across Royal Collection CV Blade. What a beautiful iron from what I could tell from the few photos I looked at there. Anyone have any experience with them they would care to share? Any other photos would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks in advance....

Any other photos would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.... I can't speak about the CV Blade, but I have a set of the Forged Blades. I believe they're very similar sets except the Forged Blade is a true blade. In any event, here's what I can tell you: Relatively forgiving for a players stick, due in part to to a good amount of mass low in the club head. Also makes them a bit higher launching than some other options. Kyoie (sp) forged and REALLY soft and solid (good enough to have me sell my Miuras). With respect to shape--I love it. It's a distinctively 'JDM' shape with a more sculpted toe....very similar to the Gauge Design clubs (I think, due to the fact they were forged at the same place). In short, these irons are gorgeous, feel great, and are very playable. I swore off blades until I can play more; but these are too beautiful for me to sell. Richmond Golfer
The cv stands for cavity back. They look more like cavites than true muscle backs but appear to be the best of both worlds. Good solid looks with forgiveness.
vikingstormlarsen
I have played the CV´s for 2 months now and I really love them, I am a first class Ho! and this one is the first one I feel I want to play to they break. They are shafted with 1150 (S) I loe the grinding on the sole, killed leading, well sort of, which for a digger like me is just perfect. The chrome is that deep one that looks like liguid or something. I can shape whatever shot I want and I feel very cinfident with them:-) I have played miuras (5002)Tittys 681, 670, 660, Hogans, tried Xforged which is very similiar in size but lack of good grinding. Easy to hit and nice to look at and this guy are in love with them.. Now I need a new driver, a 19-21* MD and some really good wedges and the bag is set (yeah right .....) That is quite an endorsement and one that I appreciate. I would be interested in that exact comb of shafts & heads. You wouldn't happen to have any photos would you? vikingstormlarsen
Can do pics tomorrow, when my cam finally arrives at home :-) Sweden is all skiing right now:-) Specs (blueprinted) : standard lofts (don´t use I3) same lentgh as Titleist 695CB, Nippon 1150GT (S) Tour velvets that I am thinking about redoing to the "Padraig" style. Soft and very easy to hit even mis**ts rewards very well and as I wrote before, the grind is the very best with these ones! Pics to come :-)
