viperact
I'm looking and looking at reviews of drivers and found that there is almost no conclusive ending to why a certain driver is better that other drivers. I'd sure like to hear from people what drivers they think is the best. I myself thinks that for looks, ONOFF 2008 Plus looks the best and Inpres performs pretty well. NakedDave
For my game, as well as my preferred ball flight, the TourStage X-Drive 430P is the winner. It has a classic pear-shaped head, and is fade biased.
BigEasy
Either PRGR 501 or TourStage 405 for me. TourStage 405 is longer than the 435 or the 430P. Graphite Design M-65 is an excellent match for the 9.5* head.

iskandar
the yonex nanoV i is getting rave reviews in europe, a few mags reported that at a few european golf shows it took the top honors. apparently they have fixed the problems they were having with nanotubes on the previous model. shepherd
I love my Epon Forged 460 fitted with a 63X Whiteboard. Had it custom ordered with a 2* open face angle, and it is an anti hook machine! Very penetrating trajectory that carries well even into the wind. Hits it at least 10-20 yards past my old Taylormade 425TP fitted with a rombax. Very good driver especially for high speed, high trajectory players. SS: 50 m/s Mid-High Trajectory R-L player Quick tempo
l9979
epon 460zr, period... not very fogiving but pretty good distance, very nice feel, sound and setup... nothing really matter at all for the mid-low handicaper...i try a lot of drivers so far, always going back to this monster... high swing speed might not be good for distance unless you have the best combination with the shaft...congratulation sheperd... super high quality titanium face feels too soft sometimes over 110miles ss... epon means simply the best ever... just my two cents... Blader-X
Anyone here hit the new Yamaha 425? This looks like it could be a definite winner and I was curious if any TSG'ers had put it in play of late.
viperact
does europe have any local brands? if so, what's good?
ranghips
does europe have any local brands? if so, what's good? 'Does Europe have any local brands', that got me thinking because not that many years ago we had a thriving golf manufacturing industry here in Britain, particularly in Scotland. I haven't done any research into this but the only brand that I can think of is John Letters and I'm not sure that their clubs are still manufactured in Scotland! The rise and rise and rise of Golf club manufacturing in China has seen production move from everywhere, including the USA, to China where costs are so much lower. Back to the original thread, I have tried nearly all the new drivers from the OEMS (at demo days and from friends), still have not found anything that can match my Alpha V5 Axiv V combination, the closest was the Cobra L4V, even my PRGR T3 with the same shaft cannot compete with the Alpha, which is a component head from a company who specialise in Long Drive equipment. Mate this head (460cc 15-3-3-3 Titanium, adjustable weights) to a Axiv or GD shaft (p9003?) and you have a bomb!
