I currently use TT dynalight gold in Stiff flex at 118g.

I was wondering who here has tried the following,

Shimada K7001 which is about 96g in stiff,

Nippon 1050 which is about 106g in stiff,

Tour AD graphite 85 which is 89g in stiff.

I beleive all of these are mid kick.

What are the thoughts on performance if I were

to swich to one of the above three shafts...recommendations?

Thanks,

Kent

i have owned and tried most of those shafts. i at one point had the shimada k7001, nippon 1050 in my af701s. first of all the k7001s are very good lightweight shafts but i found them to have excessive vibrations which i did not get along with. ball flight was very good and tended to balloon less than the nspro1050. the nspro had excellent feel and feedback but found the ballflight very high. i actually preferr the nspro 950 over this.

for what its worth i have shifted to a tour ad75 and has made a world of difference in my game. feel is buttery and lively and these certainly feel like soft steel. not the whippy kind of graphites you are used to. you should defintely consider these. good luck
