Henry
Just received my PRGR M3 Hit Tour 3 and 7 woods. First experience with PRGR clubs. Looks great. Shaft is stamped "made in Japan", Nice color on heads. Compared to my Callaway X fairway woods, head size is smaller. Shape of head is in between pear and compact (hard to describe) but very pleasing. They do not have a marker on the head like Callaway. Hit the 7 wood outside today in 40 degree weather along with my Callaway. PRGR definitely a few yards longer. Ball flight with PRGR also appeared to be a little higher, more piercing trajectory than Callaway but shafts are different. Ball went pretty straight. It was hard for me to draw or fade the ball but my swing was awful today. Will try again when weather breaks but that could be in a few weeks. Straight is good, and once it warms up and your swing is in sync, you should be able to draw and fade this club. Definitely an aesthetically pleasing shape and design. the M3 Hit has been a best seller for a long time in Japan and they made it even better with this square faced more compact tour version. rbenz
Can you folks post pics of the headcover? How is it different from the non tour version?
gocchin
Can you folks post pics of the headcover? How is it different from the non tour version? As far as I know headcovers are almost the same. More silver/gray on the non tour and all back with silver gray trim on the tour. Both lettering in red. Henry
After a few weeks of hitting these clubs, I can state this is by far the best fairway woods I have hit to date especially the 3 wood. Use to think a 3 wood was a hard club to hit as I have always kept a 4 wood in my bag but I can say when hit, this club rocks! Very easy to hit. Really like the 2 degree flatter angle on these clubs. Since I am not that tall, I think the flatter angle helps me hit the ball more in the center of the face. I would recommend these to anyone thinking of getting some new woods.
