I currently play a 6064M Axiv in my driver. I am more of a swinger than a hitter...105 SS. Hit it about 265 average...though the monitor at Golf Galaxy often says 290..

Looking to match the silky smooth Axiv in my 3 wood.

Suggestions.?

Short answer: Quattro Tech (green, not the new MD), Diamana Red, Roddio BA. I dropped you a pm with a longer version :-)

Edit: I see Duffer reading this, so he might have some more up to date solutions for 2008!

I have used the Axiv (5556m and 6060m) on drivers but found Machline shafts to be just as good if not better. I have installed Machline FW65 R on 3 and 5 wood and hybrid with very good result (you would be looking at SR or S flex). At $120 here at TSG, the Maclline FW is an inexpensive way to experiement.

p.s. k22, what am I suppose to do in Toronto with -10c outside?

Loved the results of the Ozik X-Con 7.....not sure I'd classify it as "silky-smooth," but the results are hard to argue with......

No jest, I figured you would have some more info, and you did. As for what to do when it is -10C... booking a flight to SE Asia sounds like a start!
