Spoon
Guys has anyone tried the qt-md in a fairway wood? i know they are super in drivers but havent heard much feedback in FWS. i am thinking of shafting my new 5wood with either a QT-md or a QT. i previously owned a qt75s but had to sell it as it was too stiff for me. as far as i know the only difference between the md and the qt is the ball trajectory. the md is suppose to be lower launch mid kick vs the qt's highlaunch low kick. is there anything else i am missing? fwiw im thinking of the original qt but that new md sure looks mighty tempting. i would like some advice from folks that have tried both. thanks c
gus
I have one of both on the way now so I will post my findings after they get shafted and put into play (yes with pics!). I went with stiff flex in both; and the MD6 for a bit lighter driver shaft. I keep hearing great things so let's find out right.

Spoon
just wanted to update everyone i have decided to put the quattrotech 55 instead of the md in my 5wood. let me say that this shaft plays better for my swing compared to my qt75. awesome feel and i can feel the shaft really work the ball. i get a nice boring trajectory that starts low and just seems to rise. i would not call it high but average. i am glad i got this one. i am planning on getting a 3 wood with the md6 for lower trajectory shots. for those that havent tried the GDs let me say that they are the best feelings shafts out there, the feel is so superior to other brands ive tried. this is the 3rd epon 5 wood i have bought and experimented with once with machline shaft and twice with assorted quattros. the third being a charm. Bret well i am quite surprised becasue people claim that the QT has a high ball flight although for me i find it to be lower than i expected. i get a nice boring trajectory with less backspin and lots of roll. so much in fact that i have used this with great success while my 3 wood is in the shop. i get a consisetent 250 ro so with this off the tee. my tempo is somewhat quick and more on the agressive side but the shaft holds up well and i can really feel it loading up. i can really feel it working almost feeling the bend profile/kick immediately. so far so good and this has been the shaft i have been waiting for for my 5wood. previously tested 4 other brands but always something lacking. now i am completely satisfied. Spoon
just to update i picked up a quattrotech md6 on my epon 15* wood just to settle the unanswered questions that were plaguing my mind these last couple of weeks. i ended up getting a quattrotech md6sr with a sw of d3. the club and shaft had superb feel although i did not like the way my ball flight was getting. i already knew that the ball flight of this was going to be lower but for me it was way too low that i was loosing some serious distance compared with my 5 wood shafted with quattrotech green. i was expecting something similar to my pt shaft but this was significantly lower. so questions answered and peace of mind obtained. i have ruled out the md series for woods at least for me that is. the quattrotech green is still king for me and will reshaft my 15 witha nother qt. i can see this working well for folks who hit their ball naturally high or with a driver. i on the other hand hit it quite low so dint need the lower trajectory.
