Hey, everyone.

I have to say that I am really strugging with this one. I absolutely LOVE these wedges. They do everything I could ever want and then some. Alas, I have worn the grooves out and am in need of something that is just as good/better.

Can anyone recommend a replacement that has good spin, great feel, and similar versatility? I have my eye on the Epons, but have not hit them. I could use any help!!!

EDIT: Forged JDM only, please. Thanks in advance. And, hit 'em straight!

Patrick those are indeed amazing wedges you are replacing. There are several candidates I think you could consider, the Epon 208KGX as well as the Royal Collection 6150TG. Both provide amazing spin and feel. Wonderful shape and setup and are very versatile because of their grinds, good from any lie and easy to open up. Both spin A LOT. The Epon's will have a slightly lower trajectory and you have three finish options plus numerous shafts. The RC have the milled faces like the GASII except an even finer milling. Another option is the Yamaha Inpres X but they may be a touch larger head wise than the other two.

Thanks a ton, Gocchin! Man, do I wish I had bought a back-up set when they were still available :-). I hadn't thought about the RCs or Yamahas. I'll take a look.

Cool. Another good option! Thanks!

I played the GAS 2. Now playing Scratch wedges. Solid!
