Although I do not need any more wedges in my collection...I was wondering why a 2008 version hasn't been released

Maru spec wedges haven't been released since 2005! 2006 were Ai-chan models. Nothing since for Maru.... which is not surprising considering his performance over the last few years...

I have the 05 Marus, and I love them.

Didn't know...I would have thought that they'd release a special edition set for "someone" every year

Maruyama himself is only playing one of his wedges anymore; its an '04 version; I cant remember if its a 53 or 59; the other wedge he has in his back was the '07 x-wedge in raw with a very nice grind on it.

My 208KGX shreds balls like crazy and I can't stop myself from doing it :D

Then you don't need any other wedges right now, just new golf balls. (^_^)
