Begins shipping out the end of this month so I doubt anyone has had a chance to review it yet. There have been a few pre orders for it so if we're patient we may hear some reports soon. (^_^)

I am one of the pre-orders.... hoping to receive in about 10 days...

I will be reviewing in about 2-3 weeks after I played about 5-6 rounds with it.

I don't know why but I have a feeling I am going to love this club.

Showed up today...

Noticeably larger in size. Much deeper face, comparing to an Epon and G-Field.

Very clean looking. I must say I really like the look.

Played 9 holes with it in a 30mph wind. Left the Driver in the bag and hit it off the tee and a couple of times off the deck on the par 5's. The set up, the size gave me a sense of confidence.

I'll review in full after a couple of more rounds...

Epon on right, G-Field on left

Well...

After hitting at least 30 shots on the Golf course, both off a tee and off of the fairway.

This beauty has officially made the #1 bag.

Sound - A bit on the tink side... certainly not loud - medium to quiet

Feel - I would rate the Epon slightly better here but again very solid. No complaints.

Set up/ Look - I like the larger size head. For me it inspires a bit more confidence. I feel like I

can't miss with it.

Performance - Outstanding - I can tell you it is the longest, most forgiving 3 wood I have ever

hit. Very very accurate as well.

This 3 wood comes from the factory 2-3*- flatter than most other manufactures. This is perfect for me. At 5'8" and a fairly flat swing I'm able to make better contact. Most of the 3 woods are a

bit to upright for me.

The only thing wrong with this club so far is I have hit it too far a couple of times. :atsg_smilie_roll:

I wish I had the PRGR to hit and compare to this one.

Played again today and all I can say everybody wanted to know WTF this club was.

AWESOME club. Off the tee is almost as long as a driver...

Looooong and forgiving, very workable as well.

idrive,

what shaft do you have in your fourteen? stock? do you know if the stock shaft plays true to stiff?

THX,

Al

Sorry for the late replies.. have been out of town... :)

Stock shaft.

I would say it plays very close to Stiff compared to everything else. If it were to lean one way or the other it would lean toward stiff-reg. This is the best "stock" shaft I have played.

is the face of the 308 deeper than the face of the 206? I am loving my 206, curious how it differs from the 308.

Wish I had a 206 to compare it to. I will measure the face....

I am 100% in love with this 3 wood.

Look for a measurement later... :) (as soon as the wifey gives me a sec after we get unpacked.)

idrive, how what kind of average launch do you get hitting this 3 wood off the tee: high, medium or low? thanks

comment_149826

First let me say that I have no problem getting a ball in the air...

I would consider this a medium launch. I can also hit it low very easily. I think most folks would

have a harder time getting this to launch high.

This is an excellent 3 wood for someone who likes to hit 3 wood off of the tee.
