Honma has just released their all new MG713 woods.... a big step away from their more traditionally shaped drivers.... this new Beres features high MOI type design with lots of technology packed into it. Shallow wide face and low back... it's not like older Honmas....

what a coincidence you posted this now, i was actually trying their demo drivers last week. like the bazooka ribs, very very easy to hit and love the shallow face. the armrq shaft is such a treat to hit. just had some reservations on the sole design and feel at impact. great driver nonetheless

C! You've been spoiled by all your Epon's! :tsg_smiley_drool:

You said it was easy to hit, how was the performance paired with that nice UD49?

it was very very nice, shaft has a nice flex to it, there is something about the armrqs i just love. from their wedges to their driver shafts they have something really special going for them. it was so easy to hit, and very forgiving. i attribute this to the shallower than normal face and their supposed ribbed technology, although like i mentioned the feel is nothing what ive become used to. when you have tried the best eevrything else doesnt cut it:)

i would certainly be sporting one of these though just for the forgiveness factor.
