rbenz
I picked up this shaft. Its a pull from a XXIO driver. I was originally going to put in another driver but went with a different option. Now I have a spare shaft. I was wondering what is the difference between this Tip 9 version VS the retail PT-6 other than length? Thinking of having it further tipped to put in a 5 wood. I realize that it will get stiffer if its tipped but just thinking if it would be a good idea? Let me know what you guys think. Sorry for the blurry pic, only had my cell handy at the moment. gocchin
It's the exact same shaft as the standard PT-6 except for the tip diameter which in this case is 9mm rather than the standard 8.5mm or 0.350" (actually a touch bigger) and why it's called Tip 9. It's perfectly normal to tip this to put in a 5 wood, it would work great... mid trajectory with the left side of play.
rbenz
Looks like I got the wrong tip size lol. I was hoping to install this on a Fourteen SF206 5 wood (think its .335). This might go to the BST or in the closet.
