clevelaand
Two used G-Field wedges I received from Blader-X. When I got them they had a lot of wear on them so I decided to redo them. First I bent the 58* to 56* because my wedge set-up is 52*, 56* and 60*. Next I buffed out the faces and the soles since they showed some heavy use by Blader-X. Then I regrooved both wedges and to top them off, repainted all of the grooves with white paint. Oh, and I also replace the NS Pro steel shafts with graphite shafts, easier on my arm. I think they look pretty good and I now have the entire set of G-Field clubs. The GFT driver and three wood, the 3-pw NC-1 irons, the two G-Field wedges, an orange G-Field Leap putter, and a shiny black and white G-Field bag to put all of the clubs in. Ha, not sure why I was so inclined to try to find this set-up, just for fun I guess. idrive
Nice to see people having fun with the game. Wedges look great. Did you hit them before you refinished them?? if so... Do they spin the ball better after refinishing them??
Blader-X
Wow Doc, that didn't take long!! I think I only sent those to you on Monday, uh? Great work on them and yes, most all my clubs get quite a bit of usage. You should see my Epon 60 X-wedge. Talk about wear, but it still performs great. I'm glad to see that these wedges which had been idle for some time, will finally be getting some work in again. Thanks for pics and the ease of doing a little business with you!! clevelaand
I did play one round with them before I redid them and they felt great with their weight and feel. However, not really much spin and I play on a course where the greens are softer and the balls spin a lot. So, regrooved the wedges and amazing, spin-spin-spin. Actually, if you hit your wedges a lot in practice and on the course, my recommendation is to get them regrooved at least once a year-maybe more. It was great dealing with Blader-X and I am so excited to have these two G-Field wedges in my bag. (Posted pictures mainly for Blader-X.)
