Thinking to match scandium shaft from e21golf.com that I came across recently with Epon 701. Anybody in the forum has experience with this shaft? Is it really true this alloy can deliver better performance than any steel shafts?

Quite simply the best and most underated shaft imo. I came from PX 5.0s. Dispersion is tight, feels much better (the shokblok thing really works) and it hits at least as long as the PXs but slightly longer in most cases. Trajectory is slightly higher but boring. May cost a lot more but I think after these shafts, if you fit yourself right (tipping and weight), they'll be the last iron shafts you'll ever want given what is out there now.

Thanks for the input. What's a shokblok? Fell wise, how do u compare this with NS Pro?

Shokblok is what e21 calls them vibration dampening technology. As for NS Pro, the only comparison is that they feel smooth like the Nippons but.... and many NS Pro players here will probaly get on my case... they play MUCH MUCH BETTER than teh NS pros in terms of stability, dispersion, consistency and length expecially in the long irons. I played NS pros for a while too.

Thanks a lot for your honest opinion. Think I might have to try give it a go then.
