I don't live too far from the Butch Harmon Golf School. So, about 14-15 months a go I went over for a two hour lesson. $150 an hour and my instructor wasn't Butch.... anyway a large part of the lesson was spent with an impact bag and video taping. Until seeing the Flat Left Bent Right video posted here I had pretty much forgotten about the impact bag. It had been stressed (at my lesson) that getting one would be a good idea to continue practicing what I had been doing at my lesson.

After seeing the Flat Left Bent Right video I went out and bought one at my local Golf Store. They had them in stock.

I highly recommend one (impact bag). IMO it will help anyone and everyone. Get an impact bag, watch the Flat Left Bent Right video posted here and you will see an improvement in all parts of your game.

I have been playing very well as of late and this seems to be the final bit of fine tuning I've been looking for to get the handicap to scratch. The higher your handi, the more this will help.

When I get back to Japan I plan on getting one for sure... (^_^)

Jeff,

Thanks for your feedback. Not surprised to hear about Butch and his staff being adamant about the flat left. The foundation of the Harmon Teaching Method,"Bethlehem Steel" on the flat left- was his father's slogan. Working that IMPACT BAG isn't glamorous- just effective.

Be looking for you on Scratch Blvd soon!

Bret
