bogeydog
Many may have seen my review and posts about the Yamaha Inpres X V Tour Limited irons. Yes I am still playing them and still love them. I still have the KB Tour 5.5 shafts installed in them. Sounds strange to have setup for so long, but I couldn't be happier. The combo is deadly. I really think the KB shafts, when fitted correctly and built well, they are the finest shafts for me available. The distance control is stellar. The irons seem to have perfect spin control. Feel is slightly harder than my AF-301s, but the feedback is better. They feel is solid and soft at the same time. My swing is evolving into a style that traps the ball better. The small amount of offset has probably ruined me for life as I would find it difficult to return to more offset. So, what is the news on a 2009 version? As of now, there is no news of new Yamaha irons. The V Forged, D-black and D-steel are all still available as new models so probably not till winter will we hear anything.
