Mjr. D
Hey guys. I'm looking for a Callaway Ft-5 LCG (if anyone knows where i can get a real one. Not an apparently fake one from BSG - READ THIS - http://bigstealergolf.blogspot.com/ please let me know). ANYWAY. I'm looking to buy a shaft for it once i get it. I need a super low spinning shaft for a very hard swinger. Out of the following, which would you guys recommend? Mitsubishi Diamana Whiteboard Xflex. Matrix F7M2 LTD (XX stiff) Graphite Design Tour AD P9003 (X stiff) Fujikura Rombax XD400 (XXXstiff flex) Axiv V (X-stiff) Crazy shaft - (I know nothing about these) (X Stiff) Something else i don't know about? Please give me you feedback guys. I'd really appreciate it. Also, if there's a driver head i don't know about out there that's better at cutting back spin than the Callaway Ft-5 LCG, please let me know. Thanks. Edited August 7, 2008 by Mjr. Blader-X
Hey Mjr. D. Just an opinion on the shaft, but I really think you need to give the P9003x from Graphite Design a serious look. I can't say enough good things about it. I'm very certain it could handle the strain you would put it on it. Good luck.
Mjr. D
Thanks for the reply. Ya, i leaning toward that or the Matrix F7M2 LTD. I have a GD UT hybrid shaft and it's the smoothest shaft i've ever hit i would say. The only reason i might go with the matrix is because of it's ultra low spin/launch and XX stiff option. That's what i have major problems with. especially with head winds. Clearly a swing issue, but i'll take all the help i can get.
