BigEasy
I'm debating between these two drivers and if you have any comments, please share. The NanoV, which is my current driver, is the JDM model and has 9* loft. The trajectory is pretty close to optimal to me and its distance is really good. No complaints about this driver, but want to try something new. I really like the look of the 08 Onoff Plaus black driver, so want to try it. I'd appreciate any comments on either of these drivers. gocchin
What year and model is your NanoV? That's a really great driver especially the current 450D which came second in this month's Golf Digest Driver shootout. The ONOFF plus made it to the round of 16 and was eliminated there by Fourteen's JC808. I take it you prefer the more traditional shaped driver? gus
I'm gaming the ONOFF Plus all black right now shafted with a Voodoo XDV6 (tour only) and it's the longest and straightest driver I've ever played. The bugaboo with this model is the ability to re-shaft (can be done but technically sensitive) so make sure you order the driver with a shaft you know will fit your swing profile...BB Edited November 7, 2008 by BigBen

I don't know the year or model, but this is what I have. I found a picture on the web. Is this a decent driver?
gus
I played that driver for a while too and the ONOFF is superior in my opinion. I think you might like it...
samuee
I've tried both and prefer the NanoV 450D model. It was straighter and had a better flight for me. Although I liked the looks and feel of the OnOff, I don't believe it was as long as the 450D.

I certainly do like the traditional shaped driver. I take my NanoV to be pretty traditionally shaped.
gocchin
The XXIO won this years D1 Shootout but the choice driver among the pros was the NanoV 450D because it was more traditional looking and solid than the XXIO. When did you get your Yonex? The 450D is this years model.
languidcrane
Does the regular nanov 450 perform similarly to the 450d? I would be more interesred in that club with square face and neutral ball flight. It seems strange that the pro model 450d has closed face and draw bias. gus
You are playing the 425cc Nano V; same as the one I had. It is a very nice driver too...BB
yichen382
Can someone give a comparison between NanoV 450 and 450D? I have a chance to get either one used with the 450D being a little more expensive. I don't know which one to pick. Anyone hit both? Besides that 450D is a little closed face, are there other differences? Is 450D a better design because it's the million dollar club? Thanks in advance.
