danitrio1
Hi there, I am currently in search of my next iron set. Miura MB-5003 peaked my interest. Currently, I play Ben Hogan Apex 2006 blades. I've tried Mizuno MP-67 recently which I liked. I was wondering how the blade length of Miura MB-5003 compares with Ben Hogan Apex blades or Mizuno MP-67's. From the measurements on Miura Giken website, blade length is "68.5mm" and it seems very small. I wouldn't want an iron set that is much smaller than Mizuno MP-67 or Ben Hogan Apex blades. I appreciate any help/advice concerning MB-5003 blade length and headsize compared to Ben Hogan Apex blades and Mizuno MP-67. Thanks alot! 88 ROUNDS PER YEAR
Hi there,I am currently in search of my next iron set. Miura MB-5003 peaked my interest. I appreciate any help/advice concerning MB-5003 blade length and headsize compared to Ben Hogan Apex blades and Mizuno MP-67. Thanks alot! As I replied to your PM, the MB-5003 head is very small indeed, quite boxy because of the short length. The feel is very precise, very solid. The weight balance from heel to toe is excellent which encourage producing straight shots (someone may call this "forgiving", but I think you would still have to hit right in the middle of the club face.) However, MB-5003 is more intimidating at address comparing to MP-67 and BH Apex 2006. I am actually playing CB-1006 and switch to MB-5003 only when I am very confident with my swing. If you are looking for a relatively big blade, wait for the EPON AF Tour. It is only slightly smaller than AF-301. I hit a few shot with AF Tour yesterday, but I think the winner is still AF301.
