Posted November 19, 200816 yr comment_153049 Hi guys, new kid on the block! My name is Marlon and I'm from the Netherlands, The Hague. I started golf at the beginning of this year and man, what an addictive game. I regret the fact that I didn’t start this game at an earlier stage, but he, better late than never. Well, let’s check the bag, I started off with a Nike Ignite iron graphite set which I’m still using and I recently bought myself some Japanese clubs. Beautiful stuff. Got myself a nice forgiving Honma MG711 driver. (need that). Two Epon Forged 208KGX wedges (50 & 60 degrees) and a Maruman Shuttle 3 wood. Just to give it a try I also bought a Titleist Vokey Oilcan Spin Milled Wedge (56 degrees). And even though I’m not on that high level yet, I must say that both the Epon as the Titleist wedges give a real nice spin to the ball. My putter is a Titleist Scotty Cameron Circa 62 nr.3. That’s my baby. And for a nice price in Jakarta last month I bought a Titleist 585H hybrid 19*. Very difficult to use though. But I’m getting there. I want to replace my Nike irons next year for a Japanese set as well. Either Honma or Epon’s or something else. Depends what will suit me by than I think. Two bags, Titleist CB722 Caddie Bag (Titleist Japan) and a Nike Sasquatch Tour stand Bag At the moment I’m trying to get my driver and 3 wood under control. Man, that’s hard work, so please, if anyone has some tips for me, shoot! Anyway, thanks for having me here and hopefully you will enjoy my presence as much as I do yours. November 24, 200816 yr comment_153115 Welcome to TSG! As you said, better late than never - we are just glad to hear that you are enjoying the game. As for the irons - as you have no doubt seen, there are a plethora of great new offerings floating around. Lessons - I need a few myself but Idrive has pointed you in the right direction!
