Posted November 22, 200816 yr comment_153071 I recently purchased a set of JPX-E500 irons 5-PW and I am trying to authenticate them. There are no serial #s on the hosel as on the US Mizunos. They also have what seems to be .370 tip NS PRO HL shafts, were as all US forged Mizunos have a .355 tip. I believe that I got them from a reputable dealer in Japan, but one never knows. Thanks in advance if you can help with info.
November 22, 200816 yr comment_153073 E500 Forged or E500 Ti Face? Do you have pictures you could send me? The Mizuno E500 line does have some fakes floating around on Ebay though if they came directly from Japan there are most likely legit.

November 29, 200816 yr comment_153198 Unless someone proves me wrong, my e500 legitimate. I got my e500 irons from Korea when I was visiting there from a legitimate dealer. Mine do not have a serial numbers on the hosel, but has a laser labels on the shaft, and the shafts were NS Pro 950 HT. You may want to check your shaft for the laser labels.
