Hopefully they are an improvement over the last few generations... Zodia has truly lost its luster in previous years with some unpopular models. They're not only unknown outside of Japan but were becoming that way in Japan as well.

You are right T. I can still find some Zodia wedges in the sale bin in Hong Kong. The Chiba line was a bid of sale dud I think. They should bring back the raw ones from years ago when I first saw them in Japan.

Definitely, I've also seen them in the sale bins in Japan and not going anwhere even with steep discounts especially the island grind series and there is not much talk about Zodia these days. Those US Specs were their best wedges in my opinion.

I had a US Spec Zodia and no matter how much I wanted to love it, it would not love me back. Never had a wedge that dug into the turf more. The thing was almost unhittable from every lie.

I just cannot play the two proto I got from you but 'Art' is doing magic with them.

Actually while I thought they were Zodia's best wedge feel wise and spin wise I actually had the same issue. I'm a digger and the US Specs also dug like mad for me... while they felt good and spun well (yes they destroyed balls), I didn't find them friendly to my swing.
