Is it better to grind the sole to decrease bounce or bend?

Just wondering if someone can help me out here. Maybe an obvious question, i'm not sure.

I'm going to buy an Epon wedge, i'm looking at either the 52/12 and grinding the sole to decrease the bounce to 10 ending up with a 52/10 OR purchasing the 56/14 and decreasing the loft 4 degrees and therefore decreasing the bounce 4 ending up with 52/10.

Which route is the better route??

Please help me out.

Thanks.

My thoughts, suggestion.

Being a nice soft forged club the 56 can be bent to 52. I think that is too much to bend as it will change the dynamics of the club and possibly "crinkle" the finish. Epon won't bend it more than 2* for fear of ruining the finish.

I would get the 52* and take it out and practice and then play a round or two before doing anything to it. The grind is extremely versatile and you, like me, may find it works very nicely just the way it is. I think the high bounce # has scared people away from this wedge. I have found it does not play as such.
