BigEasy
I'm looking for a new JDM driver and 3 wood. The more I see the pictures in the proshop, the more I'm leaning towards Fourteen drivers and woods, as I want a driver with traditional shape and deep face. So, I have the following questions. 1. Anybody playing/played either the JC 707 or JC 808? How do/did you like them? 2. Looks like some people really like the 707. Is the 808 as good? 3. Looks like the SF 206 has been getting very positive feedback. Is the 308 as good? 4. If you don't care for Fourteen drivers/woods, what would you recommend? Thanks in advance. jamnguy1
SF206 easy to hit, goes long I used to own a JC-606 driver. Unfortunately, it turned me off to all Fourteen drivers.
idrive
The 206 and 308 FW's are excellent. The lie is 1-2* more flat than most which is another reason they work better for me. Head size is slightly larger as well. Very easy to hit. I have not hit the 707 or the 808.

Anyone have any comments?
idrive
At address they look very similar but the 308 is larger. Perimeter is close but it is slightly deeper. I have read a lot of reviews of both Fourteen FW's and have yet to find a review that wasn't positive. I even found the stock shaft to be quite good as well. xxio
The Fourteen drivers are decent, but not as good as what you would expect from a top tier JDM especially after you have tried their irons. I have tried the 707, 808, and 909. I would put a JDM Srixon and a xxio (biased) driver into play a lot quicker. IMHO the best overall performance JDM drivers are still Tourstage. I have also played many JDM drivers, and I go back to Tourstage and Epon. re: FW SF 308 is alittle larger. T told me its like hitting another mini driver. Fourteen woods are fav'ed because of their lie angle. R9 and all the other adjustable lie and face angle woods will be coming out soon.
