TheFittingBlog
Today we got our first set of PING i15 irons in. I am a big fan of these as they are everything I am looking for in an iron set. The long irons are extremely easy to hit and the short irons are very easy to maneuver and manufacture shots with. I really like how they set up and actually look a bit more squared off than the i10's do. So after work tonight I gathered some ProV1's our TrackMan and the 4 and 7 iron from both sets and did a bit of testing. Both the 4 and 7 iron tested very well against their predecessor. The 4 iron results are astounding though! I don't know how they keep making stuff even better! Take a look for yourself! The irons I tested were completely stock. Black dot, standard length, stock grip, AWT steel shafts. I am also an 8 handicap so the results aren't perfect like a robot. I do think you'll find that my results are closer to what an everyday golfer should expect though.
