The Hybrids of EPON AF-901 are available with the lofts 19, 22 and 25 degrees.

How can I compare that?

19 degrees = ~ Iron 2 / 3

22 degrees = ~ Iron 4

25 degrees = ~ Iron 4 / 5

is this guess possible?

What you said is pretty much right. 3 4 5 for the AF-901.

It depends on the set of irons you are playing. ie if your 5 iron has a 25* loft then the 25* AF-901 replaces the 5 iron.

yes they will generally replace the 3/4/5 irons but keep in mind the playing length of the club is longer than the 3/4/5 irons it replaces due to the longer graphite shaft. so generally it will play a tad stronger.

If you mount a graphite shaft, but I got now a AF-901 with a steel shaft and my custom fitter told me that is equal a 3-4.

that is correct. i myself have the af901 22/25 shafted with steel nspro 750 and i play the same club length w the iron it replaces. in my case 4/5 irons

I got the 25° AF-901 with a FST pro 115 shaft (bytheway one of the sweeetesst club I have seen so far, as a mechanical engineer can tell sweeet)

and he mentioned that this is equal a 3-4,if I see ur answer Spoon then it's equal a 5.

Means I'm looking now for the AF-701 for my next Iron set but with the AF-901, 25°, I dont need the Iron 5.

I have the AF701 with graphite and the AF901 25* with graphite and I do find that the 901 would hit longer (by 8 to 10 yards) than the 5 iron in 701 both with Graphite Design Tour AD. I would use the 901 25* in place of my 4 iron which I do not have (although almost the same loft as the 701 5 iron.)
