Randy
I always thought 10.5 degree driver was right for me. That is until I just tried a 12 degree 45.25 inch Epon Monster Beetle with a stiff Mamiya x-6066 shaft. This driver just hits flat out high bombs with no ballooning. Don't know if it is the head or shaft or a combination of the two, but I have never hit a driver so high and so far. There is a mound on the driving range at 240 yards that I hit my drivers towards. My drives normally hit at the base of the mound. With this driver, I am easily clearing it with a lot of roll. I have had two other EMBs. First was a 9.5 stock shaft at 46 inches that I just couldn't get enough height out of. Second was a 10.5 that is in my WITB. Good, but not spectacular and sold it. Went through a bunch of other drivers and just couldn't find the right one. Then I had to chance to get this one at a pretty good price. I am so glad I did. To bad EPON has changed their policy and you can't order them here now. This driver may have come from TSG as it has the TSG grip on it. Couldn't find a recent post on the EMB driver, so mods it you think this post should be else where, please move.
