midwestgolfer
I have been a miura iron player for several seasons. I really like the feel of the clubs so I was not really interested to hit the Epon 502's. I have epon driver and 3 so I respect their products. I tried the 502 and could not believe the difference in feel and distance. I purchased a set, and they are the best irons that I have ever owned. Miura are wonderful but the traditional mindset the club maker has misses the opportunity to advance the club with new technologies. Epon is on the game and they are great. They are indeed longer and part of this is the aggressive loft. The club in general has caused me to adjust my distances by one club. I altered the lie of an Epon wedge set to keep of with the consistency change in lofts in the iron set. These irons have the feel, control and distance to change your game....I know this sounds silly but it is true for me.
