Shaft for Epon AF-901

Thinking about an Epon AF-901 19* to replace my current Mizuno MP-CLK 20* with Fubuki (Made-For) 64g. Question about whether to stay with graphite in the 901, or switch to matching steel KBS Tour, as currently played my irons? Looking for mid-high launch and soft landing, to better hold greens on 205-210 yd approach. Suggestions or comments? My current specs are: SS 97, Ball speed 142-145, 12 index.

i use px 6 in my irons, i have dabbled with many graphite shafts in my 901. originally tried the machline ut75s but found it a bit light for me.

i then shafted it with an oban 85s shaft but did not like that one as well. for steel i tried the KBS hybrid and that too was not to my liking, found

it too boardy. also tried the nspro 950 hybrid, felt ok but changed it again after awhile. i currently use the nspro 750s. this by far is the best combo

i have found so far for the af901. it is light enough to be a hybrid shaft yet in S flex has a nice kick, i get the right height and trajectory for perfect

soft landings.

do note that i have a px 5.5 flighted on stanby just in case i get bored. i have had this shaft for over a year but still havent replaced the ns750s. its

that good. others will find it on the light side but it works for me.
