I got a set of 2009 Tourstage X-Blade GR irons while I was in Singapore and was wondering if anyone knew if these irons are forged. Also they came with Nippon 950 shafts and I was thinking of re-shafting them but I'm not sure if they are parallel or taper tip shafts. Thanks for all you help.

There's 2 models of X Blade GR 2009. The GR C-1 which is a cavity back model is forged and the GR P-1, which is a undercut cavity, is non forged. Shaft tips are tapered. Where did you buy it from in Singapore, may I ask?

I think my X-Blade GR might be the 2008 model, since they don't have C-1 or P-1 anywhere on the irons. I got them from Takashimaya in Singapore. I'm finding that I'm hitting the ball a little higher than I like with these irons so I've been looking at the Tourstage 701g irons and the Mizuno MP-53's. Have you hit either of these irons? Thanks
