March 22, 201114 yr It was a pretty good low spin, deep face driver but technology is different from the current X-Drives. I'd say the 703 was even an upgrade over the 701 and the 703 is stilll very good and comparable but the new models feature a more advanced crown design and weighting structure as well as a softer feel off the face. Plus the heads have gotten more compact as opposed to the 701 and 703 even. Even with the smaller size it has not lost forgiveness and probably gained distance thanks to the designs.
March 22, 201114 yr Aha! Weird I just put this in the WTB section a few days ago. I have tried once a few years ago, and fom what I remember it was very low spin, and had vey good feel to it. Thats why I thought it would suit me, the deep face looks great to me. I also saw last years (or even older?) X-drive 460 and that had a really deep face as well. I mean REALLY deep
