Posted May 13, 201113 yr After so many trial and errors. Let me list them down. My first crazy LY-01 R2 flex , never worked for me. LY-02 still the same result (better than LY-01 but ....) Tj-46 , 6.2 flex (failed) , I told myself this will be my final experiment on crazy shafts if it is not meant to be , just let it be. To my surprise, THe CB 46 black in 6.7 flex is soft and a pleasant to hit. Actually i would say that it is smoother than my Quadra FE SR flex. Bogeydog confirmed this as well. I will be installing this into my Ryoma. Lets see whether the same result goes for this combo. <div><br></div><div>Can any Crazy expert tell me whether the Crazy 40 and the 50, do they play like the cb 46? </div> Edited May 13, 201113 yr by gbs
May 13, 201113 yr Hi Gbs, when u say failed, what do u mean? Like distance loss/ right bias etc? What's your ss & 7i carry distance? So with the latest change apart from feel, u see some distance & dispersion improvement? I'd be divorced if I have to go through that many crazy shafts to find the right one.

I think that the LY are more lighter with stiffer profile. my bad shots are left and apparently most of the other crazy shafts i bought are to eliminate slice. Well should i say that all my balls went all over the place. With the CB black i thought i would not be able to hit it. but apparently as i said its very smooth and my shots are mostly a little draw or straight. Hopefully its not only the honeymoon period, Usually my 7 irons are about 140mtrs but with the Yamaha D steel its about 150 mtrs.
May 14, 201113 yr The CB46 is the most popular Crazy shaft right now as I noted on the blog. People love it. It is in the Black range meaning it was designed for more aggressive and faster swingers but its turned out to be a great shaft for anyway who simply wants to go straight. It has the best balance of distance and control of all the Crazy shafts it seems, and it feels good to boot.

Be positive and don't think its honeymoon period. You have the best comparison experience from the other crazy shaft. Keep the positive feel and swing away :)
