We're in violent agreement that most of the Miura, Epon, and Yamaha heads I tried are only differentiated by subtle design differences. That's why it was so hard for me to pick an eventual winner, and why the different companies' design teams have to work so hard on emphasizing the subtleties. Certainly, some worked better for me than others, even when they had the same shafts installed.

There's a statement I can totally agree with. I sympathize with you for your difficulties but totally agree with you regarding the reason for your difficulties. It's one of the things I like about Golf today as against Golf yesterday.
