I didn;t think it was possible having progressed from CB1 then 2 then XCG-3 AND.... I'm using the stock M-40 shaft. More roll than my XCG-3 with GD Tour AD Sf 6 shaft. I will say the M-40 os perhaps not as tight BUT as I use this off the tee only, I don;t want to sacrifice the distance. I would say 10 yards more on avg.

So now I want o fnd out more about the EGG utility to possibly replace my very old Cleveland Halo Tour issue 19*. Any one play the EGG utility? Is it as good as the EGG FW?

Or what about the Miura IC-2003 driving iron? My swing after picking up golf again just seems to be better with irons and I'm not hitting my Halo with any consistency (it's the golfer not the club).

Do teh EGG Utility or the IC-2003 play more like irons which is what I want?

Thanks. I love EGGs.

The forgiveness between the IC and the egg are night and day. The egg is much easier to hit, from any lie.

As a matter of a fact as I wrote on the blog when I reviewed the egg utilties, I found them much better than I expected. And this seems to be the case in Japan as they are so popular many lofts are back ordered just weeks after release. The egg will set up like an iron (albeit with a bigger head) and perform like a wood distance wise and versatility of a rescue.

Thanks. The thing is, I hit my Epon Pro-I 4I better and more consistently than I do my Halo and the Halo is a forgiving UT. Its my swing which seems better to irons hence my question.

Believe it or not, I hit the EGG Spoon FW long off the TEE BUT... I can;t hit it off the deck LOL. It's my swing and my mental condition when it comes to FW and UTs off the deck. Irons somehow don;t freak me out as much. Strange eh? :-)
