coops1967
Saw the review of the new 435 driver - looks good... just saw the 'old' 435 version, i'll keep an eye out and give it a try. Went to the PRGR site to have a look. There's some very interesting data in their calogue, available at bottom of this page :- http://www.prgr-golf.com/catalogue/en/ 'Don't trust conventional wisdom of adopting long and lightweightclubs' and shows results of tests of 100 amateurs swinging a 46 and a 45 inch driver... they had higher ball speeds with the shorter driver...i'll be staying with 44 1/2inch then ;-) coops
shacco
Is it just me or does that driver look like the Adams 9064LS? At least the sole design.
gocchin
i tried the original iD435 and while it was nice it did not stand out for me like this new model. PRGR put a lot more design into this head and Endo did a great job making it. The feel is superb and I was surprised at how straight it was considering how compact it looked at address... coops1967
The smaller, pear shape and made by Endo is what especially interests me... and the fact it's made for 45" playing length means the head isn't too light either, so a mid 70's gram 44 1/2" shaft should be good if needed. Can't find any of the old 380 Epon Technica drivers, sadly...... if only Epon made a new 380 same shape at address but sole etc redesigned (maybe a la Adams 9015D/Ryoma style with the bulge at back and centre and all the latest Face tech and a nice Endo cup face with custom choice of lie and face angle etc....
