If you was to trim a light shaft, at the Butt end, would this alter the Torque numbers on the Shaft??

Although T and others on this forum would vote against trimming the tip, but I'm pretty sure you can trim a good amount off the butt end and *not* alter the effective torque on a shaft.

I dont think torque numbers would be affected by butt trimming ....i doubt tip trimming would affect torque much either.....Torque measures a rotational force and trimming would probably only affect stiffness.......( disclaimer : im a chemist, not a physicist )

And I think also launch characteristics b/c the bend point moves up or down the shaft depending on where you trim it. The difference might not be significant though. I don't know, I'm not a chemist or physicist, I'm just an average golfist.
