I'd like to try one of these heads but don't want to go longer than 45 or 45.5 inches. With the lighter heads, it's either 46+ shafts or hotmelt. I would not hot melt as it will change the intended playing properties of the head by altering the CG and with hot melting, from what I recall, you have no control over the CG alteration.
