robbie
Ok, i have had this shaft in the bag for a few rounds now and this is one of the few tight shafts that really doesnt like to fade.....i had a super hard toime getting this shaft to fade....it is a mid high launch with tons of kick but it really stays away from the right side....it will go right if u block out, otherwise it is either straight or a small draw....really impressive shaft ! It states a weight of 58 grams but feels heavier ! Edited July 6, 2012 by robbie
hardboiled
If you ever come across an anti snap hook shaft.. lemme know
shacco
Really sounds like the shaft for me;) Anti right sound sooo perfect
gocchin
Yes the LY-02 unlike most Crazy shafts which are anti left is in fact anti right. Its the best shaft for the slicer wanting more distance.
robbie
i use this shaft to hit a power fade.....usually i am afraid of fading the ball too much but with this shaft, i can pound on it down the left side and it fades a yard or 2 to the right......or goes straight......i am experimenting with a 7.7 flex when it comes in.....my stiff set up works great but i actually need a bit more fade ! Henry
I have been looking for a shaft that has a high kick point, light weight, nuetral bias, easy to hit for my Driver. Does one exist?
robbie
ummmmm.......cb46
Henry
I am not an aggressive and hard hitter with the club. Much smoother tempo. Dont think CB 46 would work.
gocchin
The Royal Decoration prototypes. MidHigh Kick. Penetrating ball flight. 513 is perfect for the smooth swinger Henry.
xerobound
The variety and the quality is very amazing with Crazy. I have yet to find a tight shaft that is anti-right, like the LY-02. It's hard to believe, until you actually put it in play.
chiromikey
just put this shaft in play mounted to my 435...can you say bomber! slight draw with tons of roll! this has got to be one of the lowest spin combos out there.

Hmmm.. you have me thinking now. What shaft was in your 435 before pls and does that launch higher than the LY02?
robbie
Just installed a ly02 SX flex in my v202....waiting for the glue to dry....the stiff played about half a flex weak so im hoping the sx fits me perfectly...when i am swinging 80%, stiff is perfect but flat out and too much draw !!!! if u swing smooth, this is the must have shaft for lightweight but not featherweight with lowspin and amazing carry with good roll......a mighty fine shaft ! chiromikey
Hmmm.. you have me thinking now. What shaft was in your 435 before pls and does that launch higher than the LY02? it had my test shaft...the shaft i test all my drivers with, ust/mamiya red tour series 69. it's probably one of the highest launching shafts there is so it was a tad bit higher than the ly02. robbie
Just got off the course with my 7.7 flex LY02....normal shots are small draw and easy shots are straight, a tad bit right due to partial push and full godzilla swings are big draws. Almost perfect shaft...I couldnt hit the power fade ....this club refuses to fade on command, but the flex is tight but still wants to go left...if u are a big hitter with fast hands, forget it !! This wont work......but if u want a reliable draw on a tight lightweight shaft....this is as good as it gets.....haha anybody need a excellent/mint cond LY02 in stiff flex ??? cheap ??? 44"
robbie
The LY02 is solidly in the bag right now ! for such a lighweight shaft it has tons of control and performs well in windy weather as well. The most important thing when playing this shaft is to make sure u get the proper flex, i would try to play this one about a half flex stiffer than u normally use. If u get too whippy a flex, this shaft will draw really hard on a aggressive swing. This shaft is perfect for a smooth swinger and u can step on it quite a bit but if u like to swing aggressively, this shaft wont work ! i play modus 120 stiff and find them to be very nice...i could probably go up half a flex but stiff seems to be fine for now, my fw are fubuki 75 stiff and 757 stiff and these are perfect, i dont need them any stiffer but in the LY02, im playing a 7.7 flex and i find this to be quite playable....there is zero boardiness in this shaft ! Can't wait to get mine;) Hope you are right with the flex. My SS is around 98-100 mph. Maybe Tario can chime in here if that is enough for a stiff flex ly02 noir or would I be better off with a SR flex. robbie
im actually thinking about making the move to a 8.1 flex in this shaft, so that should say something about the stiffness of this shaft. I play modus stiff in my irons which are considered soft and i also play Nippon 950gh in stiff and KBS tour in reg. I dont liek the stout stuff.....if anything the stiff will be a tad soft when u go after it !
