RIduffer
If you were going to put a custom putter on BST, how would you arrive at a price for the listing? Edited October 18, 2012 by RIduffer
Spoon
If you were going to put a custom putter, how would you arrive at a price for the listing? tricky. first of all a custom putter has your specs. specs may not be in line what a specififc buyer had in mind. or you are limiting the buyers to someone whose specs it is suited for. also if their are any personal stamps and initials it could affect the price. BUT if headweight is moderate and not too beyond the norm and devoid of any personal stampings you can price whatever you want. what do you have? EdGolf
Depends on the maker, head type, etc. I've seen a lot of custom putter going for high price due to the uniqueness of the design, the maker, etc.

When I got the Zen, it pushed this one out of the bag... Adjustable weight, adjustable loft... Edited October 18, 2012 by RIduffer

RIduffer
Man....that's like a transformer putter lol That was the goal of the design. Allow for different weights so varying grass and weather conditions would not require a change to the stroke. Similarly, I have been fitted a few times with different methods for putters and the loft of the putter has been different each time. So now, I can just have a different face made and select a loft and material even. Very versatile putter overall, great quality in it, but the Zen… Across the bags, the only thing that stays in all of them is the putter. Each bag is complete sans putter. Or to steal a phrase from a popular book "One putter to rule them all"...
swisstrader
Typically slighters go for between $175-250 used. Obviously depends on condition, original cost to build, etc. I happen to like them. Also one day hoping to get my hands on a zen to try, although something tells me you have to trust what ppl are saying about the putter and just buy it. I personally like putters that have some heft to them based on speed of the greens at my home course...unsure if that's true for the Zen. The Copper Olympia is now in the bag I keep at my folks house for when I visit. On the Zen front, I don't think there are anymore to buy… You'll have to find one used, and I think that is less likely than finding Personals up for sale...
