Shaft input - Aerotech vs Monaco

I currently game 502's with a set of Aerotech i95 shafts and love em. I just picked up some new irons that are shafted with stiff Monacos at 122g.

Am I crazy for even trying to play these things with weight of Aerotechs at 95 vs Monacos at 122??

Obviously I can give em a crack at the range and see how they go and worse case I can reshaft w a new set of Aerotechs, sell the Monacos or steal the shafts off the 502's, but would prefer to keep the 502/Aerotech combo in tact.

Any thoughts on the above?

Just like everything else we buy. Try them and sell if you don't like.

Spoon should ship n soon as he have Monacos in his Personal (before he sold them lol) and now have since switch to Aerotech 195 in his new irons. Both for me are great feeling shafts but with Aerotech maybe easier on the joints and easier to get the ball launch up in the air.

Apples and oranges if you ask me.

the i95s dont feel light at all to me and i am gaming monacos.

i find my monacos on the heavier side as of late, i am gaming them

.5 over std and am using the 3/8" increments tom wishon.

the aerotechs dont feel like 95grammers its a testament of how balanced

they are and if built properly to your preferred swingweights will feel awesome.

i had no problem switching back and forth. although my current gamers are still with monacos

and have reserved my aerotechs for my next set of heads.

we are in this forum so its in our nature to buy now think later. we try, tinker etc etc. if all else fails

sell the monacos and get the aerotechs. at least by then you would have gained some wisdom and left

no stone unturned.
