The golf ball is a big part of "feel" and most premium golf balls are great in their own way. I think its good to find one premium ball you like and stick with it, as they each have their unique feel to them. Getting used to the feel and performance so you know what to expect on the course is the hard part. (-coming from a guy who likes to experiment with clubs and balls. LOL)

Just had to add.. New Srixon Z Star and Z Star XV are out! :)

I've just seen the Z-star on offer over in the UK, 2 Doz for £50??

Might be worth me trying them!!

How do hey compare to Pro V1x's?

I think they are just a bit firmer in feel, but they do perform very well. Consistent feel and spin, with good distance. They are way more durable than the ProVx, you'll get more holes in with one ball.
