Did anyone try the Geotech quelot RE12 forged iron?

Look at RE12's spec.. This set of irons must be "crazy" long, or

"cheating" long. Come on! 18* for 3 iron ??? Have anybody tried this before? I wonder how does it feel? Mostly, people were talking about N-17 rather than this one. Hope it performs as good as it's price ( for Geotech's standard ). Thanks for the feedbacks.

I tried it, definitely strong lofts for a blade, it has a 23* 5 iron which is more than most distance cavity backs.

The reason is, its aimed at the more premier or senior player, wanting to play a blade (it actually has quite a thin topline but the sole is not ultra thin and has a nice blunt leading edge). but also wanting distance.

Dimensions as well are on the longer side ie longer from heel to toe with some offset.

Quite forgiving and pretty good feeling... it is one of the Geotech's that is completely done in Japan, forged, grinded and finished hence the higher price over some of the other models.

Here are some pics I took.

Thanks! Goccin. So do you think the S15C super soft steeel that Geotech addopted on RE12 is another reason they have to make the loft so strong? If I use the same loft setting no RF700 irons, I wonder how will it work? These two look pretty much alike to me. RE12 is a bid lighter and also has a chamber inside the sole. Will these make RE12 feel less solid and less consistent?
