Posted December 19, 201212 yr What's the difference? Both are H irons but one pic (left) has a white 4 point star on the back near the hosel, the other doesn't. Anyone knows or Chris/Tario, can we find out from Romaro? Thanks. Edited December 19, 201212 yr by wmclarenf1
December 19, 201212 yr Author I'm hoping someone will confirm because I see the one withOUT the star on some dubious websites.
December 19, 201212 yr I know anything I've seen recently has the star on it. Original (older) models don't seem to. I'll have a set shipping any day now as they have been back ordered for about 6 weeks now..... would bet the new batch has the star....... we'll see, soon I hope.

Do let us know if yours is "star-less" or not :-)
December 20, 201212 yr If you look at their Japan site on the H iron page, you would notice one picture with the star and the other does not on the same page. Don't know what that means though.
December 21, 201212 yr Author If you look at their Japan site on the H iron page, you would notice one picture with the star and the other does not on the same page. Don't know what that means though. Yup. I noticed that too. Thing is, in the dubious sites, all the H sets offered have no star so I guess perhaps best to err on the safe side and get a set with the star?
December 21, 201212 yr Author Emailed Romaro: + denotes conforming grooves No+ non conforming Great info! Thanks for the effort and post!
December 21, 201212 yr I thought the star meant they had a 60g power booster placed low and deep to provide the ultimate in forgiveness on mis**ts but I could be wrong...
December 21, 201212 yr Thanks Rich for answering the question. You are becoming quite he Romaro expert! (^_^)
December 27, 201212 yr Author Woohoo! My RomaRo H irons just arrived. Gonna put in my NS Pro 750 shafts, fit them to my length and lie and give them a good side by side with my EPon Technica Pro Is. I have not been excited by irons for at least 5 plus years so I really hope he H irons work as good as they look, Mine came with red iomics, black paintfill for the sole numbers and red paintfil for the 4 pointed star, RomaRo and H signs. December 27, 201212 yr Author Will do in due course... I'm just reshafting the 5 and 7 irons just in case they don't work out for me. These came with Modus 3 shafts and the red silkscreen on the shaft really went well with the red silver theme.
December 27, 201212 yr Author Got the 5 and 7 reshafted but before I did, I hit a few balls into an indoor range with the Modus still in them. While the MOdus 3 was clearly stiffer and heavier that I have been used to for a long while, I must say they (heads and shafts) felt great! A different kinda soft to Epons but soft nontheless and very solid. These are looking very very promising indeed and I may just be replacing a set of irons that have been in my bag for over 4 years!
