dodo
Is there somebody who can give a compression between these 2? Thanks
Eca
Whatever you do, keep the cb46 as a base.. That's one heck of a shaft!
RIduffer
Have the Proto 519 in a V-Spec and that is a winning combination...
gocchin
The 46 is more a distance shaft and is based on the TJ46 but with some added control and anti left characteristics. The 519 is a redesign of the Crazy Black 50 which is Crazy's best control shaft for stronger and harder hitters. One complaint though about the 50 was that it lacked the feel other Crazy shafts had so they created the 519 Proto and tweaked the design to have more feel and kick but similar control to the original 50. Other differences include that the 46 series is best at longer lengths and with larger driver heads while the 519 and 50 do well at almost any length and with any head. Can vouch for shorter length and smaller heads on 50 sigma. Just put that into a 340cc Kasco head at 44.5. Thing of beauty...

The 519 stiff is the flex 6.9 or more 7.4 on the Crazy scale? The CB-46 is a low launch shaft the 519 to, or has it a higher ball flight? From what length will the CB-46 perform the best? gocchin
Stiff is 7.2-7.4 on the Crazy scale. 6.9 is stiff/Regular. 519 launches lower than the 46. 46 is best at 45.5" or longer but it seems to handle 45" okay too.
