September 1, 201311 yr comment_213363 I'm trying the MC HYBRID 70 shaft now in my EGG which I just put in yesterday. As for the MC iron shafts, its kinda weird as you go across weight classes. I have tried MCI 60S and MCI 80R and the 80R plays a lot stiffer than the 60S. I'm guessing its due to shaft wall thickness.
September 1, 201311 yr comment_213370 I broke my PW shaft at the tip, the other day. Hit it out of thick hard mud, though. Phenomenal shafts!!
September 1, 201311 yr comment_213372 maybe more metal, or a greater percentage of metal? Could very well be. On a side but related note, the MC shafts seem to have more steel content in the tip walls than the steel fibre shafts for what that is worth.
September 2, 201311 yr comment_213421 I'm just loving the MCI's in my irons, too. Playing the 60s. I like the light weight in these, whereas I didn't in Aerotech's when I tried them.
September 2, 201311 yr comment_213425 the mci 80s is on my onoff 2013, higher ball flight i noticed, but ball dead stops on the green. Did not see any distance gain compared to my ctper, but definitely easier to swing
September 2, 201311 yr comment_213426 They're incredible. Definitely make my short list for favorite shafts ever. Nippon Super Peening Blue, Modus 3, Recolis and now these.
