Asking for a friend.

I presume the latter is the newest version and the former, well, the former.

How long ago was the former released before it was replaced in 2011? Also I have gogled to find that there are slight differences in the weight and torque ratings. AS for flex, the softest for the new CB-46 Black is 6.2. THe former model did not have numerical flex ratings but alphabetical starting from R2 to X.

Does the R2 flex of the previous version equate to 6.2 in the current model and so on and so forth?

Any playing differences?
